The sweet paprika, the smoked paprika, the hot chili, and the extra hot chili come in powder form. They are grown, dried, and ground by Péter Szabó in Hungary He even does the smoking himself. Péter learned the craft from his father and grandfather and produces high-quality paprika and chili on his land out of conviction.
The black pepper and the cloves (whole) come from the Congo.They are grown and dried by Elody Wema Naburafiki and her women’s cooperative (Coopérative des Productrices des Epices Wa Mama Congo Ni Tamu). Since there is currently war again in the Congo, I’m truly glad that I can offer some of their products here!
