This coffee comes out of Chirinos, which lies in the Andes in Peru. Peru, with it's many mountains, is one of the best country to produce high quality specialty coffee.

Churupampa has a social business model, instead of only looking out for themselves, the Tocto family helps more than 30 other farmers in the surrounding area, to improve their coffees and market it outside of Peru.

Churupampa is certified organic and as always they receive at least double the Fairtrade minimum price ! Churupampa produces their own compost to feed the coffee trees organically.

This coffee has taste notes of chocolate and nuts, with a mild and pleasant note of fruits.It is very well suited for fans of more traditional coffees. So if you enjoy coffees from Colombia, this one will be right up your alley.

Perfect as filter coffee, french press, Espresso or in Bean-To-Cup machines. A real all rounder!
